How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched within 24 hours and standard UK delivery typically takes 7 to 10 days. Delivery is free on every order.
Are your umbrellas windproof?
Yes. Our frames use flexible fibreglass ribs designed to flex in gusts and spring back rather than snap. The Sovereign, our 24-rib flagship, is our most wind-resistant.
What makes The Sovereign different?
The Sovereign has a 24-rib fibreglass frame — double the rib count of a standard umbrella — with a 115cm canopy for maximum stability and coverage in strong wind.
Do your umbrellas protect against the sun?
Yes — our canopies use a coated lining that blocks UV rays, so they work as a parasol on hot days as well as in the rain.
How does The Beacon LED umbrella work?
The handle contains a built-in LED torch and the canopy has reflective trim, so you stay visible on dark, wet evenings. It's also a reverse-folding design, so the wet side folds inward.
Can I wash my umbrella?
Wipe the canopy with a damp cloth and leave it open to air dry. Never machine wash or tumble dry, and always dry it fully before storing to avoid mildew.
What payment methods do you accept?

Is my payment secure?
Yes. Payments are processed by Shopify's secure, PCI-compliant checkout. We never see or store your card details.
What if my umbrella arrives damaged?
Email hello@simplybrollies.co.uk within 30 days with your order number and a photo, and we'll send a replacement or refund you at no cost.
Can I cancel my order?
