Simply Brollies is not UK VAT registered. This does not mean international orders are exempt from destination taxes or import duties.

Using this website

You may use this website for lawful, personal purposes only. You must not misuse it — including attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, scraping at scale, or interfering with its operation.

Eligibility to purchase

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract to place an order.

Products, colours and availability

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Product photography and screen settings mean colours and finishes may vary slightly from the item you receive. All products are subject to availability; if an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you and refund you in full.

Pricing and payment

Prices default to pounds sterling. Where Shopify supports a selected country, prices are shown in that market’s currency, with the final currency and total confirmed at checkout. Simply Brollies is not VAT registered and cannot issue VAT invoices. Any destination-specific tax or duty treatment must be confirmed at checkout; no tax-free international delivery is promised. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but not after your order has been accepted. Checkout and payment are hosted and processed by Shopify; we do not see or store your full card details.

Order acknowledgement and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. An order confirmation email is an acknowledgement, not acceptance. The contract forms when we dispatch your order. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch — for example if an item is unavailable, a price or description was clearly wrong, or we suspect fraudulent use of a payment method — and will refund any payment in full.

Delivery

Delivery availability depends on the basket and destination accepted by Shopify checkout. Free UK standard delivery on orders over £30. Other delivery charges calculated at checkout. UK: Standard Delivery · Estimated delivery: 7–10 working days. Items marked Fast Delivery · Estimated delivery: 3–5 working days. Mixed baskets use the longest item estimate. Timeframes may vary by item; estimates are not guaranteed.. Estimates are given in good faith and are not guaranteed dates, and we are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. Full detail is on our Delivery page.

Ownership and risk

Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us. Ownership passes once we have received payment in full.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

UK and EU consumers generally have a statutory right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving it. Contact hello@simplybrollies.co.uk before returning goods for the correct address. Customer-paid change-of-mind postage applies only where lawfully disclosed and applicable; we cover necessary return costs for faulty or incorrect goods where we are responsible. Faulty products

If goods are faulty, damaged in transit, incorrect or not as described, contact hello@simplybrollies.co.uk. Your applicable UK/EU statutory remedies, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where applicable, are not affected by our change-of-mind policy.

Promotional codes

Promotional codes are valid for the period and on the terms stated when issued, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may not be combined with other offers unless we say otherwise. We may withdraw a code where it is being misused.

Intellectual property

The Simply Brollies name, logo, site content, product copy and photography are owned by us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the value of that order, and we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

Our umbrellas are designed for normal use in rain, wind and sun. They are not protective or structural equipment, and damage caused by misuse is not covered.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. This does not remove mandatory consumer protections or rights to bring proceedings in your country of residence where applicable.
